HEALTH GUARANTEE

Your puppy is guaranteed for 12 months from the date of birth against any life-threatening hereditary and congenital defects.

The puppy is guaranteed to be in good health at the time of sale. Your puppy will come with a health certificate from an initial visit to my veterinarian and will be micro-chipped prior to departure.

You will have 3 business days from the date you receive your puppy, in which you must have the puppy examined by a licensed veterinarian, at your own expense. Failure to do so will result in this contract being null and void. If your vet finds the puppy to be unhealthy or unfit for sale, the puppy may be returned at the buyer's expense, for a full refund of the purchase price provided the puppy has not been injured or neglected. The veterinarian must provide a written statement deeming the puppy “unfit for purchase”, along with the health issues.

All precautions have been made to ensure that this puppy is in excellent health at the time of purchase. Buyer needs to be aware that a puppy is a baby and that sometimes he/she may get sick due to stress or other related reasons. He/She is leaving our home and entering a new environment and stress related illnesses may occur. Breeder does not assume any liability for any injury, or neglect to this puppy after pickup. It is the Buyer's responsibility to prevent illness and injury by providing necessary booster vaccinations, veterinary care, nutrition, fresh water, shelter and supervision. The Breeder has made every effort to breed healthy dogs and has raised this puppy to the best of his/her ability.

All puppies will be current on vaccinations and de-worming, and will come will a written record for you to provide to your veterinarian. Please do not take your puppy to any public places until the puppy has had ALL of its’ recommended vaccinations, at approximately 16-20 weeks of age, to ensure immunity against disease. You cannot be too careful and we will not be responsible for any disease that is contracted once in your possession.

This guarantee DOES NOT cover the following:

  • Cherry eye, umbilical hernia, inguinal hernia, loose hips, loose knees, allergies, soft palate issues, hypoplastic trachea, respiratory infections, kennel cough, demodex, tail abnormalities, stenotic nares, cosmetic issues, buyer's ignorance, neglect of incompetent veterinarians or any other disorders that maybe caused by environmental factors such as thyroid or autoimmune disorders.

  • We will not cover any death for any reason if the dog dies under anesthesia.

  • We do not cover any bacterial, fungal, viral, or parasitic infection of any kind; if the dog left here up to date on vaccinations with a negative fecal from the vet, then they were deemed parasite free and fit for sale.

  • This guarantee does not include any health issues caused by neglect or injury; any physical problem, which is or could be the result of injury sustained or an illness contracted after the consumer took possession of it, is not covered under this guarantee.

  • Breeder will not be responsible for any medical expenses incurred. Buyer is aware that owning a puppy means trips to the veterinarian and understands that he/she will be responsible for all payments.

  • Breeder cannot guarantee adult size, color, coat, temperament or trainability of puppy.

This guarantee DOES cover the following:

  • We guarantee spine issues, heart defects, severe hip dysplasia, patellar luxation grade 3 and higher, elbow dysplasia, eyes, and hearing.

  • SPINE: Most, if not all, French bulldogs have at least one hemi-vertebrate, if not more. This is acceptable, especially if the hemi-vertebrates occur in the lumbar region to achieve the roach back look. Replacements for spine will be discussed on a case-by-case basis considering the quality of life of your dog, the opinion of your vet and whether surgery is necessary. Please do not let your dog jump from high surfaces, as this can increase the chances of a hemi-vertebrate becoming problematic.

  • PATELLAS: If your puppy's patellas are graded a 3 or 4 before 12 months of age, your dog will be replaced with a puppy or equal value.

  • HIP DYSPLASIA: In severe case, requiring surgery to return pup to an ambulatory state. Must have X-rays and 2 opinions from 2 unrelated veterinarians.

  • If purchasing a puppy with full/breeding rights, we guarantee that the dog/bitch will be able to reproduce. In the case, your dog/bitch is proven to not be able to reproduce by a veterinarian, then we will replace the dog/bitch with a replacement puppy or refund the difference of a pet price and price with full breeding rights, at Breeder’s discretion, assuming all requirements outlined in the following section are met.

Should your veterinarian find your puppy has a life threatening problem, the buyer must provide the seller with a written verification of such. The seller reserves the right to have any diagnoses verified by a veterinarian of breeder's choice.

We understand a replacement puppy would never amend the tragedy of a loss; however, we agree in advance on a planned solution should your dog be certified by a licensed veterinarian as "unfit for purchase" due any of the following problem(s):

a) Requiring major surgery for a correction of a genetic defect
b) Recommended for euthanasia (hereditary or genetic condition)
c) Death from hereditary or genetic condition (autopsy required)

If the puppy is to be returned, the seller may agree to replace the puppy with a puppy of the same sex and breed as soon as one is available. The puppy must be returned to the seller within 7 days of the confirmed diagnoses, at the buyers expense, and the puppy must be received in the same physical condition as when it left the seller, or this contract will become null and void.

PLEASE NOTE: All items covered under this guarantee are by replacement only. Buyer is responsible for all monetary expenses to be paid. No monetary refunds, in part or full, will be given. If the puppy has been bred, spayed, neutered, or euthanized without Breeder’s permission, this guarantee is null and void, and no replacement puppy will be given.

With the exception of hereditary and congenital defects the breeder can not assume responsibility for this puppy after  the sale. It is the responsibility of the buyer to care for the puppy properly and keep it free from harm. Please remember that your puppy must be treated with great care and protected from danger.
